Tater Pie
Sometimes the best meals come from the simplest leftovers. This Mashed Potato & Burger Bake is one of those dishes that feels like home on a plate — cozy, hearty, and full of flavor without being fussy.
It layers creamy mashed potatoes, sweet grilled onions, and crumbled burger patties into a casserole dish, then sprinkles in a touch of garlic, green onions, and just enough cheese to bring it all together. Baked until golden and bubbling, the casserole is finished with a cool dollop of sour cream and served alongside a crisp, fresh salad for balance.
This recipe is the perfect way to stretch leftovers into something new, turning last night’s BBQ or dinner into a whole new comfort-food experience. It’s quick, practical, and satisfying — ideal for busy weeknights, casual family meals, or when you just want something that tastes like a hug.
